Thursday the 26th of September was one for the books!
A special day indeed as I gave a talk in Dungarvan Library to 6th class girls from St. Mary's School. But what made this talk different from the others was the fact that at the end of it 25 girls went home with Eco Femme Cloth Pad Starter Kits.
The excitement and sheer joy on the students faces and the amazing questions and curiosity made this definitely one for the books.
I couldn’t have done it without the kind sponsorship of the kits from Healthy Ireland Local Government and Waterford City & County Council Community Development department and to Dungarvan library Waterford City and County Library Service for the beautiful and welcoming space.
